We've talked about why Ronnie Arrow suddenly decided to hang it up and we've talked about who we want to see replace him. Let's talk about the remainder of this season.
It's likely that the Jeff Price era will not extend past this season. We're looking at 18 regular season games and a conference tournament. Of course, it's possible that the Jags put together a run and win the tournament, cementing Jeff Price's spot as the permanent head coach, but I don't plan on betting on that.
What sort of changes will we see? They'll likely be minimal, but they will be noticeable. Can we end up with double digit conference wins and nice seed in the tournament?

I don't think there will be much change at all. I'll think we'll be average to good and be in the top half of the Sun Belt.
24-7. Conference Champions. 13 seed. Lose in OT to eventual national champions in 1st round.
Dreamers can dream, right? And part of this dream is based in reality of past experience.
It'll be interesting to see how CJP handles the PG situation.
It'll be interesting to see if Dre Conner comes on.
It'll be interesting to see if Antoine Allen turns the corner.
It'll be interesting to see if CJP expands the playing rotation.
It'll be interesting to see who the players respond in general.
It'll be interesting to see if he #FreesTreyandWendall
I wonder how practices have gone this week. Anyone know?
20-11, Win the conference tournament as a 2 seed.
Jags get placed in an opening round game, as a 13 seed. They win that game, only to face a hefty 4 seed.
Play it close, but fall late.
Again, USA catches lightning in a bottle, at the strangest times, historically.
CJP is not retained as coach, even in light of the finish.
I just hope we can finish out the season respectably winning more than we lose. Can we really expect more than that?
Price is no stiff and has won plenty of games as a head coach. I think we'll finish second in the East and win at least one and likely two gamed in the conference tournament. That probably won't be enough to get him the job but should he get in the NCAAs, I like his chances.
Of course I want to be in the dance this year, but I want a clean break and a fresh start next year. If we get a sharp, well-respected HC, we will get good assistants and recruits.
