Any of you guys going to the Troy game Saturday March 2nd?
Four of us are going. Does any one know if there's a bar or restaurant we could all meet at before the game?

$25/$15 for tickets? That's pricey. Here' s our MBB pricing for individual game tickets:
Lower Level Sideline = $12.00
Lower Level Corner = $10.00
Lower Level Baseline = $8.00
Upper Level General Admission = $5.00
Horizontally enhanced, vertically challenged, follically impaired...
It would be tough to get students up there I think. I do know that next week there is going to be a good crowd with Troy comes here (Feb 7, my birthday ironically). A bunch of friends of mine are taking a tent and camping out and grilling by the jaguar statue that day.
Making a day trip to Troy would be awesome, but I don't know if there would be enough student interest to get a bus full, especially with GA tickets being a steep $15.
Class of '14. Go Jags! South in your Mouth!
I'm going but those ticket prices are crazy. It's Troy basketball for crying out loud lol.
Maybe that's their season ticket prices.
I'm still going and bringing a friend. A Troy fan friend of mine is coming down from Atlanta so me and my friend will be with him and his friend. I'll be in the general admission section likely, because I refuse to pay more than $15 for a basketball ticket at Troy. I don't want to give them money. Makes me feel dirty.
Let's be loud as heck! Let the guys know we are behind them.

OldJaguar and I will be going. Possibly Mrs. OJ.
At this time, my wife and I plan to attend, probably in the less EXPENSIVE section.
"Faster horses, Younger women, Older whiskey, More money"
So, you won't have to mortgage your house; selling your first born child should raise enough capital.
Apaprently there's nothing near the arena and little to do in Troy so we're playing golf at the RTJ in Greenville then heading over after. We'll probably eat somewhere downtown then head to the arena.
Looking forward to the golf and game.
The places we wanted to go before the game in downtown Troy are closed for private parties so I guess we'll be hanging out at Momma G's unless any of you know of something better.
Trojan Zone was suggested so we may end up there. Hope to see some of you around town before the game
There is a possibility that my friend and I will paint our bodies for the game. He wants to. I have reluctance because it will be cold and I'm not a student anymore. But since we don't have a third to make "U-S-A" we are planning on me being painted blue with "GO" on my chest and him painted red with "JAGS" on his chest.
If you painted me, you could put the entire USA fight song (both versions) on my gut, but I am NOT volunteering.
Y'all should be very impressed with the Troy Arena. Not not as big as The Mitchell Center, it is VERY nice. Reminded me of a small NBA arena. To those going, have fun and help bring home a W.
$25? I guess now they have to pay for the arena.
Yup, I'm going. I want to see their arena and my Jags.
Now why did it post twice?

Awesome. Y'all come to Momma G's downtown before the game
Is that Mama Goldberg's?
Yeah it is.
Apparently it's a good place to hang out in Troy. The few places downtown have been rented out and are closed.
There's a sketchy looking bar and a few other places out of town that were mentioned. It just doesn't look like there's anything to do in Troy which is surprising with the large number of students.
A Troy fan on another board said the best restr. in Troy was Ruby Tuesdays, so thats where I'm eating.
Cambrian Ridge is a fantastic course. Way underrated because its in the middle of nowhere.
This is completely sad! My friend is going to show me around and his restaurant suggestions were limited.
I ate at the Firehouse Subs in Troy in January. Twice!
That's how good it is.
Only in Troy can you get camel rides at the Dollar General Store! LOL

That's right, it WAS the Dollar Store. So why did it cost $5?
PS: Lady Jags beat Troy by 1.
