I know that the NFL largely decides on who is invited to the game, but shouldn't a Heisman finalist be able to make the cut?

That is shocking, you would think he would get that invite to see what he can do. That is if the NFL powers don't think he is NFL material. At least give him the opportunity, he deserves that.
Hopefully Te'o comes to Mobile.
I don't think it's that he's not NFL material. I had heard a Senior Bowl policy long ago that they stress inviting seniors who can improve their draft status and perhaps they don't see Klein needing to improve his draft status.
Sounds silly, I know, but I know I had heard that in the past.
That's not how that article reads...
"The reason the Senior Bowl is expected to pass on Klein are some of the same reasons he is not expected to be a high draft pick. Scouts are concerned about his throwing motion and passing abilities..."
Those concerns didn't prevent Tebow getting an invite.........Of course his ability to help sell tickets overrode any "technique issues" the scouts had. :)
IT'S OUR TIME! GO JAGS!!
Exactly... some players will get invited regardless of NFL skills. Klein is not such a player. Those concerns also didn't stop the Broncos from drafting Tebow in the 1st round. Apples & Oranges.
His motion is terrible and he looks to have a weak arm.
