"Faster horses, Younger women, Older whiskey, More money"
I watched BJ at the game today and was surprised that he got so much playing time with just being able to attend the walk through practice. He tackled well, as usual, and stayed with his receiver stride for stride while playing CORNERBACK. I thought he could have had an interception on one pass if he had looked back in time and was close to another. I listened to the radio broadcast and Lee said he was covering the fastest player in the game. The only thing I was not crazy about was that they did not save our hometown player's intro until the last one. BJ's South team won and that was great.
It was great listening to Joey Jones doing color along with Lee. He talked a lot about the Jags today and they mentioned the big recruiting weekend. Too bad Jake was unable to play.
For the Red, White, & Blue: Go Jags!
I loved how BJ was put on the field for the final kneel down. True class from the coaches.
Class of '14. Go Jags! South in your Mouth!
Remember BJ started and played the entire NFLPA game, some of the same scouts were in LA at the beginning of the week...NFL coaches pretty much do the same things...BJ played safety in one game and corner in the other...I hope he gets the call for the combine...I hate Jake could not roll though...
The introductions were weird. They saved the SEC players for the end, but they obviously forgot that Mizzou is in the SEC now. Zavier Gooden was not included among the other SEC players.

Glad he played well. I saw one clip of him and it looked like his shirt was untucked...? Tisk tisk...LMFAO!!!
This is the gift that keeps on giving. Never fails to crack me up.
I'm a machine, jerk!
Me to.This is kinda off topic but i was on the shuttle with a couple of players from last years class. They were very nice young men talked with them a little and i'm very proud they're Jaguars. The Wave did a great job with the shuttle the line was long but moved pretty quickly. As i looked around Ladd yesterday i just couldn't help but imagne that kind of crowd for a Jags game what a great day that will be.BJ made the Jag Nation and Mobile proud.
That's three Jaguars in the Senior Bowl now, in a four year span of time.
If I were a recruit and a coach told me that his very new team had produced three Senior Bowlers in four years, I'm listening quite intensely.
I think this selling point is going to grow every year.
Also, just very proud of BJ Scott representing the Jaguars well ON the field and OFF.
It was hard seeing Jake rolled out in a wheel chair but he was in goodspirits. BJ came over and took some pics with Jake and giving him some love. The recruits and family got to stand in the south endzone durring warm ups. It was a great time for us all to be down on the field up front and close to the players however I think when the Falcons cheerleaders walked by the got the undivided attention of the recruits lol.
It has been a great weekend. About to go down for breakfast in a few and sat goodbye to everyone. Sad to see it end. I know everyone has had an awesome time. USA put on a fantastic recruiting weekend and got the attention of every recruit here. USA really does have so much to offer.
We have to use everything to our advantage on the recruiting front. Having the senior bowl on the same day as ourI recruiting weekend and on our home field is a major advantage.
I didn't attend the game nor did I see it on TV, but a friend at Church told me he went and one of the first things he mentioned was BJ and his shirttail hanging out so long it looked like a dress. He also mentioned how both of the Bama players kept theirs tucked in. I know we have joked about that on here, but I hope our coaches can get a handle on that this season. I thought at one time there was a rule about that and the refs enforced it.

They have that rule in Basketball and Baseball for safety reasons. Not sure about Football.........several years back, the tear-away jersey was a big part of the game.
I am looking at the Pro Bowl and I see a lot of Jerseys out......
I had lunch at Jersey Mike's........
Surely, Jake will be listed in Senior Bowl history as having been a Senior Bowler. I don't think they would exclude him, just because he was injured and couldn't play. I expect to see his name in the record next year right next to BJ and Quick Six.
The Pro Bowl is pretty much a joke anyway.
Wow. This thing has gone from how well BJ played in the Senior Bowl, to whether Jersey in or out is an NFL rule. Wow indeed.
JAG FAN SINCE <><>
I've never seen Jersey Shore
But Jersey Boys brings it back old school.
IT'S OUR TIME! GO JAGS!!
I know,we actually went from whether or not BJ or JJ should have ever been in the game in the first place. BJ got the call and represented well....We do not need the Finebaum element at all
Loved Jersey Boys when I saw it in Vegas. The actors consistently had their shirts tucked in.
Phil savage said that two guys that helped themselves the most at the Senior Bowl were Russell Shepherd and BJ Scott.
He said that BJ weighs about 210lbs because he was told that he should prepare to stay at safety but Savage thinks he should lose 10lbs and work out as a cornerback.
If he shows good speed at a pro day, it looks like we'll have our first ever draft pick.
I hope BJ and Jake both get a shot at the NFL. It appeared that BJ got in because Jake was injured, was that the case?
...but the actors in New Jersey Drive never had their shirts ticked in
They'll never win an Oscar with such poor discipline.
