This is an exciting weekend for South Alabama Athletics.
While the rest of the student body heads off to spring break, our hardwood and stickball teams have big weekends ahead.

The Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams roll into their respective tournaments.
The Ladies play today as the 7th seed at 2 pm vs. Troy (10th seed).
The Men play tomorrow as the 3 seed, vs. the winner of today’s 6 WKU / 11 ULM game. With a first round bye, the Men are three wins away from an NCAA automatic bid. This will be coach Jeff Price's first SBC tournament as the Jag's head coach. He did an excellent job leading the Jags to the second best record in the conference after taking over for retired coach Ronnie Arrow, then losing starting shooting guard Xavier Roberson and starting point guard Freddie Goldstein.

Jaguar Softball (18-2) is in California for the Long Beach State Invitational where they will play a terrific field including 11th ranked UCLA.

11 am vs. UC-Santa Barbara (15-5)
Four of UCSB’s 5 losses are to No. 5 Missouri (2 of them), No. 8 Tennessee and No. 2 Oklahoma.
4 pm vs. Idaho State (6-8)
4 pm vs. UCLA (18-2)
1:15 pm vs. Utah (9-6-1)
5:45 pm vs. Long Beach State (12-7)

The Baseball team (12-2) hosts their biggest test of the season in a very veteran, very offensive-minded 10-3 North Florida Ospreys squad at Stanky Field
The Diamond Jags are the only team in Mobile this weekend (ticket info: 251-461-1USA).
